DeSoto County Dream Center
MISSION STATEMENT:
The DeSoto County Dream Center spreads Christ’s love and builds hope to the underserved in our community by providing food, clothing, quality healthcare and educational assistance to Title 1 school students and their families.
Notes:
We have approximately 1500 volunteers who volunteer with us over a year's period of time.
We are a client choice food pantry. We have a community outreach program called Adopt-A-Block where we go into our community and feed the residents 3 times a month. We also have program where we work with clients with chronic illnesses and help them make wiser food choices by providing them with fresh fruits and vegetables.
